Community Support Services
Bridges Community Support Services help our clients establish themselves as independent and productive members of the community. The program is recovery-oriented and focuses on rehabilitation and skill mastery that will lead to increased independence. We assess each clients' needs and help obtain the appropriate services in the community.
The program provides education and supportive services to adults with mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders who reside in Milford, West Haven and Orange.
Social Rehabilitation/Open Door Social Club
We provide social and psychoeducational services to empower individuals in recovery. The goal is to improve their quality of life by supporting the development of life skills, improving interpersonal skills and cultural activities that promote recovery.
We offer clients opportunities to shop, attend performances and visit nearby recreational areas with the assistance of trained professional counselors and social workers.
Bridges provides assistance in finding and maintaining appropriate sites for independent living within the community.
Bridges Employment Opportunity Program helps individuals obtain and maintain jobs in their communities. It also serves area businesses by identifying and pre-screening job candidates whose skills and interests match their requirements. The program helps individuals identify their interests and develop the skills necessary to attain and maintain desired employment.
