Families Impacted by Substance Use Support Group Now Available at Bridges.
Is someone you care about struggling with substance use? It can be overwhelming and isolating, not just for the individual but for the entire family. That’s why Bridges is now offering a Families Impacted by Substance Use Support Group to provide a space of education, understanding, connection, and hope.
The Families Impacted by Substance Use Support Group is a new, free, and confidential group open to the public. Designed specifically for family members and loved ones of individuals dealing with substance use, this group provides a safe and compassionate space for support, connection, and learning.
What to Expect:
Participants in the Families Impacted by Substance Use Support Group will explore topics such as:
- Understanding addiction and its effects on the family
- The stages of change and the recovery journey
- Healthy boundaries and the difference between support and enabling
- The importance of self-care and seeking peer support
